Thank you for buying Guardian Ultrasonic.
First Steps
To get started, flip the power switch to green. It's on the bottom of the device.
When transporting the device, or when it's not in use for a couple of days, flip the switch back off to preserve battery life.
Usage
Place your phone flat on the top surface. Guardian Ultrasonic will detect your phone automatically and start protecting your privacy.
A short upbeat sound will play and the Guardian front logo will light up and stay on while Guardian Ultrasonic is active.
It will automatically turn off once all phones are removed.
Tip
We recommend keeping a minimum distance of 1 meter (3.3 feet) from the device while in use.
Battery & Charging
The built-in battery will bring you through a full day of meetings and run for almost 8 hours when fully charged. The LED light next to the charging port indicates the current battery level.
🟢 Green: More than 50%
🟠Amber: 15 – 50%
🔴 Red: Less than 15%
A single alert sound will play while the device is active if the battery is at or under 15%. The alert sound will play 3 times in a row when the battery is drained and Guardian Ultrasonic is about to turn off.
FAQ
Is Guardian Ultrasonic a jammer?
No, not in the traditional sense. It uses ultrasonic acoustic waves to physically interfere with microphones.
Does it block all microphones in the room?
Guardian Ultrasonic is designed to protect you from your devices recording your private conversations. It does not cover the whole room.
Does it work with phone cases?
Yes, it works with most phone cases. In some situations simply place the phone on the device without a case.
How should I transport the device?
Flip the power switch to off. Use the original packaging or a padded bag.
How do I store the device?
Flip the switch to off. Store in a dry place away from heat or direct sunlight.
Is it safe for my phone?
Yes. The ultrasonic waves target microphones only and don't affect your phone in any harmful way.
Troubleshooting
First step: plug the device in with the provided USB-C cable to make sure the battery is not empty.
Device not turning on?
Make sure the power switch on the bottom is flipped to green.
Not activating when a phone is placed on top?
Try to reposition the phone on the surface.
Poor jamming quality?
- Reposition your phone closer to the edge of Guardian Ultrasonic.
- Avoid placing your phone at a steep angle — prefer a flat position.
- Try without a phone case.
- Clean debris from your phone's microphone cutouts with a toothpick.
Safety & Compliance
Do not open or modify the device — this will void your warranty.
Battery handling — the built-in battery is not user-replaceable. Improper handling can cause damage or fire.
Keep the device dry and cool — do not expose to water, extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
